Twenty something producer, Jaksone Sweaney a.k.a Yakis, uses his production whips as an outlet to pay homage to his love of UK/Bass house - bending and chopping both classic and contemporary sounds into what has often been described as ‘Breakbeat for the 2016 pallet’.

If you have a soft spot for heavy bass, swollen synths, broken rhythm and "a less is more" aesthetic, Yakis is your man.

So broken in fact that the Buzz Aldrin EP (No, were not doing another space themed release on purpose btw) by Byronian upstart Yakis is technically pretty much breakbeat. But it’s breakbeat for 2016, a masterful blend between UK / bass house and breaks is exactly why we love the EP, and exactly what makes either track stand out in any set.

And believe us, they sound GIANT in the club.
